PL-Junior Accountant

Grow-talent.com partnered with a fast-growing delivery player in Europe, Africa, and Western Asia. Together, we're looking for an Accountant who would work in a team with more senior colleagues and would undertake all accounting activity for different companies at the same time ensuring that the company meets all its internal and external reporting and control requirements. 

Position: Junior Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bookkeeping

• Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with the UoR

• Execute and streamline closing procedures

• Create reports for group reporting

• Calculate transformations between UoR and IFRS

• Develop the accounting policy and accounting procedures

• Work in projects related to the implementation and testing of financial software

• Conduct tax settlements with the support of a tax advisor

• Communicate with external auditors and control authorities

• Cooperate with other units belonging to the company's group

• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Have at least a B2 level of English proficiency and speak Polish as your first language

• A solid academic background, preferably with a university higher degree in Business Administration or related field: Finance, Business, Economics or other Social Sciences

• 1+ years of proven working experience in Audit or as an Accounting controller

• Experience working with CIT and VAT is a must

• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Excellent MS Excel skills

• Experience with ERP, and implementing new solutions is a plus
