Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Work Model: Hybrid

Employment type: Full-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining accounting records

• Supporting in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with Polish Accounting Standards (UoR)

• Execution and improvement of closing procedures

• Generating reports for group reporting purposes

• Calculating transformations between UoR and IFRS

• Shaping accounting policies and procedures

• Managing projects related to the implementation and testing of financial software

• Handling tax settlements with the support of a tax advisor

• Communicating with external auditors and regulatory bodies

• Collaborating with other units within the Glovo group

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a higher education degree

• Have at least a B2 level of English proficiency and speak native Polish

• Have at least 3 years of experience in a company providing accounting services or in an accounting position

• Have knowledge in the areas of accounting, CIT, and VAT taxes

• Are proficient in Google tools, especially Google Sheets

• Have experience in implementing IT solutions

• Knowledge of Comarch Optima and LucaNet systems will be an additional asset
